Camp Holly Va Army of the James. Quite warme in the Forenoon But after noon Cold & Snow QM gave me a Box & I mad Some Stooles &c Our Clerk Graham Started for NY. also Tiff Sprague on a 20 days Furlow Health pretty Good. Received a Letter from GG.
SUNDAY 8
Head Quarters 1st Brigade Army of the James This has been a beautifull Sabath. Nothing particular occured. Had to go threw the Regular Routine of Buis. Spent a part of the day in Reading had to Cleane up Some I often Think of Home Such Beautiful Sabath & wonder how they are There.
