Left Camp at 4 1/2 arived at Citty Pt at 10 AM Left there at 12 Weather fare & pleasant Went a bord of Reed (?) packet. passed Ft Monroe 6 PM Stopped there a Short time Health Good

Washington D.C. arived here a bout 8 A.M. after Running all night huried up & got my Trasfer between But the Trene for Parkersburgh had gon had to Layover untill tomorow I spent the day in Looking Over the Capital & Pattent Offisse
