February, MONDAY 6, 1865
Head Qtrs 1st Brig 24 AC. Clear & Cold today Went to Divis Head Qtr forenoon with the maile. & Some Documents. also Brot Back the maile &c afternoon Thinkered a Round. Finished a chere I had Begunn. Took a little Ride On John (The Colonels Horse.
TUESDAY 7.
Head Qtrs 1st Brig Army of the James Been very Stormy today Snowed & Sleeted all day. Remained in House I think Such days when will this Creuel war be Over. The Lt Colonel is home this Eve I Suppose Engaging his wifes fancy & having a good time in general. Health pretty Good
