Very pleasant today The Colonel is Corps Officer of the day today Reported at Corps Head Qtrs at 900 AM went from there Out to the Right of 24th Corps & looked a long the Lines found Everything all Right & Returned to Quarters Saw the jonnies quite plane.

Head Qtrs 1st Brig 1st ? Divis Camp Holly, Va I was Sent to Corps Head Qtrs in the morning did a little Shopping on my way back. afternoon helped our Cook Som On his Shanty. The wind Blew quite Cold. all day. The Colonel Inspected 123d O.V.I. Everything is quiett all a long Our Lines Health Good..
