Oh what a Stormy day Neare Farmville Started at daylight went a bout 5 miles & Stopped for Brekfast at a House It Raning very hard. Started & went until noon. got Dinner & ?ing for the Night at a Large Plantation. Their Names are Wald The Young Lady Entertained me by Playing & Singing on the Peeano

Stayed Neare Apomatox C.H. had a good nits Rest & a good time with the young Lady Started a bout 7 AM passing threw A. C. H. & Out to the Linchburgh Roade a bout 5 miles. & Stopped as the Regt was to be a long Soon. they came they all apeered to glad to See me Camp neare there
