Cloudy Arived at Ft Monroe a bout 8oc AM after Running all night Arived at Citty Point 1oc P.M. Left City Pt 3 1/2 PM Arived in Peetersburg 5 oc P.M. Went a Hotell paid 50 cts for a bed I & a Sergt of 6th Ohio C Bunk together Health Good

Jeretts Hotell Peetersburgh Stayed here Over night I am in Company with a Staff Officer of Our Divis will try to go to the front today I am Tiered of this plase But all for no use. No tranes going to the front I am Sick & Tiered of this hole It is Rumored that the Army is Coming Back hope So.
