M. & C. R. R. Left Hermer at 8oc Am Stormed Very hard On Our way Out to Athens. arived at A a bout 12oc AM Took the Baggage to Mr Beane's took dinner there & then went to Aunt Leises Returned to Parkersugh in the Evening

FRIDAY 17.

Clear this morning Took the Mattin Roberts for Longbotton. Got to Hockingport a bout 12 & then took foot for the planes arived at the P. a bout 3oc & There learned the Sad news of my Fathers Death. Arived home a bout 5 PM found the friends in Good Health Considering
