Camp Holy 24 AC Army of the James It has been very Cold today I helped John do Some cooking in the morning went to Divis at 1100 & got the maile Received a letter from A F Biggs Esq Cleaned my Revolver in the afternoon & Tinkered a Round wrote to Alex in the Eve & Health Good &c

Camp Holy Va Army of the James It has been reely Cold today Stayed in doors nearley all day. My Furlow Came back disaproved that the Colonel put in for me So kindly I will have & other One in it had to Come from Co Commanders. & that way. Health good. it has been very dull today
