The area between Burkville and Farmville, VA. I. N. arrived by train at Burkeville on April 13, then took a railroad hand car to the 'right wing' of his regiment along the Danville Railway southwest of the town. The following day he travelled back to the junction, then apparently walked to Farmville, a distance he estimated at 18 miles.
