Duffields Depot (on the railway between Shenandoah Junction and Skeetersville), Bolivar Heights (Harpers Ferry), Weverton, Lovettsville, Hillsboro, Waterford and Snickers Gap, the area traversed by the Union army between July 14 and July 17, 1864, in their effort to cut off Early's army returning from their raid on Washington, DC.
